Fancy a cocktail with a hint of Gucci? You’re in luck. Gucci is now offering a collectable pre-mixed cocktail labelled, Elisir d’Elicriso. From North Face to Adidas to Harry Styles, Gucci gives us some phenomenal collaborations. A pairing we didn’t expect, however, is Gucci and mixology.

Everything Gucci

Curated by mixology maestro, Giorgio Bargiani, this first-ever signature Gucci cocktail accompanies Gucci Garden’s latest addition: a café and cocktail bar known as #Giardino25. Creative director Alessandro Michele creates a space that offers everything Gucci – The Gucci Garden. The garden offers guests a completely new experience in the Piazza della Signoria, in Florence. They can eat Gucci at the Micheline Star-winning Gucci Osteria. Read Gucci at the bookstore. See Gucci at the museum. Wear Gucci at the boutique. And now, with the offering of Gucci Giardino 25 – they can drink Gucci too. Mixologist Giorgio Bargiani says,

“Elisir d’Elicriso, the first collector’s cocktail of the House, is inspired by the latest addition to Florence’s Gucci Garden, #GucciGiardino24, to hero its characteristic sense of wonder.”

The inspiration for the Elisir d’Elicriso, however, also comes following the popular release of Ridley Scott’s ‘House of Gucci’ that came to cinemas at the end of 2021.

Telling the story of the world-renowned fashion house, Scott sets up the perfect ‘meet-cute’. This is between the film’s two main characters, Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani. But it isn’t just their meeting that is perfect – it is the martini he makes for her!

The Perfect Cocktail

The only thing better than watching a film that features a ‘perfect cocktail’, is being able to order it yourself. So, in celebration of the film, Gucci crafted their signature cocktail to give the audience the experience they desired, the experience of Patrizia Reggiani. And with the experience, comes her confidence too.

According to writer, Nicole Rodriguez, “nobody romanticizes ordinary objects the way Gucci does. Its trademark flare when inflected onto just about anything can make an item spectacular and peculiar at the same time.”

Like everything Gucci, the Elisir d’Elicriso is packaged ever so beautifully. In a 500mL chiseled pink crystal bottle and emerald green brand label, the cocktail provides a tasteful blend of Vermouth, Tanqueray No. Ten Gin, Liquore no .4 Podere Santa Bianca, Muyu Vetiver Gris liqueur, white balsamic vinegar, Helichrysum Essential Oil, and red wine Guidalberto Tenuta San Guido.

Pursuing Excellence

With Medditerranean herbs, local botanicals, apothecary and essential oils, Bargiani has constructed a perfect mix that creates a simulation that transports you under the Tuscan sun. The name, derived from the natural oil known as ‘elicriso’. The blend, a homage to the Tuscan heritage of the house and Bargiani.

As per WWD, Bargiani suggests drinking the cocktail in four different ways, according to personal preference – straight, on the rocks, with a hint of champagne or as a highball with soda or tonic water.

“This collaboration with Gucci proved I did something right,” said Bargiani in and interview with WWD, “Gucci and I share the same Tuscan roots, and we have the same vision, in pursuing excellence, looking for elegance without being stuck in the past, and always craving for innovation.”

Only available in Italy, the Elisir d’Elicriso is available menu at Gucci Giardino 25. Alternatively, a bottle can be purchased for a limited time at the bar, or online through the Gucci Osteria website.
