MARVEL UNVEILS NEW PROJECTS AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON

To conclude the world-famous San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, Disney’s Marvel Studios took Hall H to introduce the plans for their Multiverse Saga. It follows the incredibly successful Infinity Saga.

Marvel Studio’s president Kevin Feige shares information about the conclusion of the MCU’s phase 4 and most of the projects in phase 5 and phase 6 at Comic-Con 2022. By the end of this year, the last two projects of phase 4 will be released. We already knew a bit about these projects, but Marvel released two new trailers. One is for “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”.

The other is for the long-awaited “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. The trailer teased the women-lead movie and the possible apparition of a new Black Panther.

“She-Hulk: Attorney” at Law will be streaming on Disney+ on August 17. “Black Panther” will be released theatrically on November 11, 2022.

Phase 5

“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” will mark the beginning of phase 5. People in attendance got to see a trailer. Marvel will release the movie theatrically early next year, on February 17, 2023.

In the Spring of 2023, Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury in the series “Secret Invasion” on Disney+. “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3” will follow it.

In the summer of 23, “Echo” and season 2 of “Loki” will arrive on Disney+. “The Marvels” will be theatrically released on July 28, 2023, followed by “Blade” on November 3, 2023. It will be followed by three more Disney+ series, “Ironheart”, “Agatha Coven of Chaos”, and “Daredevil Born Again”.

Finally, phase 5 will conclude with two more movies in theatres. “Captain America: New World Order”. Sam Wilson will star as the new Captain America following the events of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. It will come out on May 3, 2024. “Thunderbolts” introducing new characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be the last film of phase 5, coming out July 26, 2024.

What we weren’t expecting was getting a sneak peek at phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic University. Fantastic 4 is out for theatrical release on November 8, 2024. Another surprise is we are seeing two Avengers movies in 2025. “Avengers The Kang Dynasty” is out for release on May 2, 2025. “Avengers Secret Wars” will come out on November 7, 2025. The graphic hinted that there will be eight other titles in phase 6 (movies and Disney+ series included).
