So you thought you’d seen every collab possible, but then you saw Martha Stewart’s Instagram. Oysters, lobsters, hoodies, and the Queen of domestic arts, Martha! An alliance like no other. And if you didn’t catch a glimpse of the iconic post, you have now!

The hype surrounding the capsule collection with Anti Social Social Club is already unmatched. Some Instagram users are saying, “Never thought I’d have to set an alarm for a drop but here we are” and “Suddenly...I have never needed anything more than these shirts. 🙌 Martha, start a cult I’ll join”.

What is the capsule collection?

Anti Social Social Club, founded in 2015 is a clothing brand built from inspiration from its founder’s mental health struggle at 27 years old. Lurk used his brand as an emotional outlet for his depression. What began as a mere mood board for Lurk propelled itself into the world of streetwear fashion. The subtle design and Friz Quadrata Bold serif typeface grew rapidly. Celebrities like Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, and Kim Kardashian may have had an influence. But either way, ASSC undeniably proved its popularity. It’s not just the young ones and Kim K vaunting the brand, it’s Martha Stewart now too!

Just imagine, having a little foodie moment, delighting in a decadent lobster, and then having it upscaled and printed on one of the biggest names in streetwear. Well, Martha did it.

Despite a slew of controversies surrounding contempt for its customer base, Anti Social Social Club remains a fixture in the streetwear universe. The clothing brand has been an enigma since it rose to fame 5 years ago. A bit of Insta-hype and celeb stardom, ASCC planted itself firmly in the modern zeitgeist. And as Lurk is no longer simply lurking in the background, he’s got his brand on expensive customised cars and the grasp of an illustrious lifestyle guru.

When can we get our hands on it?

So if you’re ready to rep the black and white tees and iconic businesswoman, set your alarms for July 30 at 11 am EDT. And sign up for the mailing list cause ASCC x Martha is coming to you!

And let’s not forget, in keeping with ASCC’s classic effortless ideal, the brand has opted to keep it simple. Even when it comes to Martha. Only two images of her will be used throughout the six-piece capsule. One showcases her clutching a lobster and the other, an intimate close-up of her gazing into the camera as she slurps an oyster. Slightly strange and a little bit random, but guaranteed to be worn on a sizeable quota of the population. JUST YOU WAIT!

Well, that’s what we do now, wait. Wait and see which big personality will sport Martha, a lobster, and an oyster. My guess, maybe someone who likes seafood?
