There’s no such thing as too much of a good thing. And that is the exact sentiment of the latest Gucci x Adidas collection drop.
This week, we see the result of design giants Gucci and Adidas latest collaboration. This drop comes almost 12 months after the mammoth success of the design pair’s first collaboration. Adidas x Gucci initially debuted at Milan Fashion Week 2022. The legendary fashion house and iconic sportswear brand’s first collection became the darling of every fashion aficionado. It sold out quickly for obvious reasons, and with this second instalment, it’s possible that this collection is the promise of a yearly event. Why not?
And What a Collection it is.
A rework of the iconic Gazelles, ZX8000 shoes, and Adilette slides appear first on our list of most favourite items. And although new footwear colourways are available, Gucci x Adidas is also offering a limited-edition apparel collection. In mid-March, a Gucci official explained that the drop has “a concentration on footwear”. However, we are happy to see a selection of clothing in the mix now that it’s finally here.
Both men’s and womens apparel appear throughout the release, from elegant trench coats to plain socks.
And if you’re in the mood for gift-giving, there are plenty of giftable items in the collection – such as a Gucci headband, a wearable golf case and a selection of signature silk scarves. After all, the holiday season is never too far away to start planning.
