Punk rock serves as the foundation of Henri Levy’s Enfants Riches Déprimés, an avant-garde organisation established in 2012. The LA-born company continues its unstoppable global expansion while adhering to the fashion trends of the 1970s and 1980s.

Each piece references a different period of time and place. SS24 depicts the tale of an American who is lost in a European village. It tracks their movements throughout a disobedient collection. Opening the runway with soiled outerwear and spoon earrings, SS24 is ruthlessly disobedient.

Models walk the runway in babydoll-style outfits with ribbon accents, waist straps, and silk shirting. Distressing, vests and double-waisted pants are for travelling, while deconstructed neckties hang from unbuttoned shirts and cropped blazers. This wardrobe’s colour scheme reflects a yearning for purity rather than devastation. This is done through a light palette, enhanced with all-black monochrome clothes. Ethereal and twisted characters’ chase one other within the color configuration of this wardrobe.

Leather harnesses with built-in handcuffs, Wild West cowboy hats, and patched Canadian tuxedos all reveal Levy’s troubled identity. The collection accessories include worn-in leather uniforms, buckled suits, and vintage-inspired flowery coats.

Now, that’s what we call a true amalgamation of fashion and storytelling.
