To Celebrate Pride Month Balenciaga announces a dedicated capsule and human rights campaign.
For Pride Month 2022, Balenciaga has announced its Pride Month Capsule, “Anybody is Queer. The campaign launched with Outright Action International that will raise awareness and funds for the LGBTQI+ Community with 15% of all sales going to Outright Action international. This theme and campaign are aimed to commend all identities within the LGBTQI+ Community.
The capsule designs follow an understated black and white design, featuring an alternative gender symbol that combines both the feminine and masculine into one. To accompany this graphic, the back of the products feature various LGBTQI+ inclusivity flags. The capsule consists of T-shirts, Hoodies, Fitted tops, caps, socks, shoes and Jewellery.
This campaign and product capsule continue the brand’s history of promoting LGBTQI+ Visibility and acceptance. Within the campaign photographs, a diverse cast of models is shot by Patrick Welde. The photographs further send the message that there is no one typical look when it comes to identifying within the LBGTQI+ Community.

The Balenciaga Campaign
The brand joins forces with Outright Action International to advocate for human rights. This happens both with and on behalf of the people who experience discrimination or abuse on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Outright Action international works at a global, regional and national level to eradicate persecution, inequality and violence that the LGBTQI+ people face around the world.
Outright Action International holds consultative status at the United Nations building capacity of LGBTQI+ movements, documents human rights violations, advocates for inclusion and equality, and holds leaders accountable for protecting these communities. Funds raised by Balenciaga’s sales of products aim to help address human rights issues of LGBTQI+ people everywhere. 15% of their Pride 2022 Collection is going towards the cause.
