‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Update and Christian Bale’s New Look

New images related to ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ have emerged with Christian Bale sporting…quite a different look.

Playing a villainous role in the upcoming film ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, Christian Bale has been spotted in Sydney, Australia. The actor appeared on a beach with his head shaved.

Cast and Crew

The returning cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, an Asgardian warrior and Thor’s childhood friend. Furthermore, members of the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in the film. Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Dave Bautista as Drax and Karen Gillan as Nebula. Other characters making a return appearance include the Grandmaster portrayed by Jeff Goldblum and Kraglin Obfonteri played by Sean Gunn.

Additionally, an extended troupe of some familiar faces have been spotted. Yes, that’s right, the Asgardian actors are back! Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth will be reprising their roles as parodies of Loki and Thor respectively. But a new face has joined the ranks. Melissa McCarthy also appears as the Asgardian actor version of Hela, Thor’s sister.

Taika Waititi will return as a writer and to direct. Additionally, he will reprise his role as Korg, an extra-terrestrial gladiator and friend of Thor.

Progress

5th of November 2021 was the initial slated release date of Thor: Love and ThunderMarvel’s planned film releases however, experienced multiple shift in date due to the pandemic. Four to five drafts had been completed by mid-2020 , which refinements being made as far into the year as October. January 26 2021 was when principal photography began, taking place at Sydney’s Fox Studios Australia.

May 6 2022 is the current scheduled release date for Thor: Love and Thunder.
